agnosticism: n 1: a religious orientation of doubt; a denial of ultimate knowledge of the existence of God; "agnosticism holds that you can neither prove nor disprove God's existence" 2: the disbelief in any claims of ultimate knowledge
This community has open membership. You don't have to be an atheist or an agnostic to join. This is, however, a religion free zone. That doesn't mean that you can't talk about religion, or even your personal religious beliefs. Religion free zone means that this community is free of religious proselytizing. I have my beliefs, you have yours. Our individual differences help define who we are as people. If you want to convert people, go preach at a revival. Similarly, please do not bash someone because their personal views differ from yours. Even though we may not all be adults here, we can certainly act like it.
There will be some very simple, basic rules for this community:
There is a zero tolerance policy for trolling. If you are trolling in this community, you will receive 2 warnings before you are banned and reported to LJ Abuse. If you want to act like a child, go get a Xanga account and troll over there.
Please do not post any personal information on this community. That includes contact information (other than your own personal email address) for yourself or any other person.
Also, try to remain somewhat on topic. This is, after all, a community regarding agnosticism. There will be a lot of leniency on this, but I will delete posts that are advertisements for other communities that have nothing to do with agnosticism. No one cares about your narcissistic rating communities.
No personal attacks. Additionally, try to actually add something worthwhile to the conversation rather than just saying something like "you're stupid". If I see you just being outright rude or caustic without provocation, you'll be warned a few times and then banned. That might seem a little harsh... Frankly, I understand having a bad day now and then, but that doesn't give you license to be an ass in this community.
